ヒト、フォルマリン固定、セロイディン包埋、H-E染色、x 25.
上面が喉頭に続く面で、多列繊毛上皮で被われ、下面が口腔に向かう面で、----
重層扁平上皮で被われている。上皮下の結合組織の中には多数の小混合腺が-
散在する。喉頭蓋の芯を作っているのは、弾性軟骨である喉頭蓋軟骨である。--

In this figure the lower surface faces to the oral cavity being covered with ---
the stratified squamous epithelium, and the upper to the laryngeal cavity -----
being covered with the pseudostratified columnar epithelium. In the submocosal
connective tissue there are numerous small mixed glands scatteredly. In the ---
middle portion of the epiglottis there is the conspicuous elastic cartilage, ------
cartilago epiglottica. --------------------------------------------------
