ヒト、フォルマリン固定、セロイディン包埋、H-E染色、x 20.
声帯は空気の流れの中に鋭く突出しており、特にその先端部は声を出す度に-
空気によって激しく摩擦されるので、この部分は摩擦に強い重層扁平上皮で--
被われている。この図はそれを示すもので、左方に突出した部分だけが、----
著明な乳頭をそなえた重層扁平上皮で被われていることがよく分かる。上皮--
下に白く抜けて見えるのは、弾性繊維の束である声帯靭帯である。この靭帯--
の右方の広い部分を満たしているのは声帯筋の横断面である。------------

The top of the vocal cord is always rubbed by air during speech so that ---
this portion is covered with the stratified squamous epithelium being ------
resistant to friction. This is to show that only small portion of the vocal ---
cord is covered with the stratified squamous epithelium with conspicuous --
papillae.　Beneath the epitelium there are conspicuous transverse sections -
of compact bundles of elastic fibers, i.e. vocal ligament, and further right ---
transverse sections of vocal muscles. --------------------------------
