これはヒトの１個の腎葉の全景であり、左側約１/３が皮質、それより右が---

髄質であるが、特に右方に円錐形に突出している部分が腎乳頭であり、腎乳

頭は腎杯で被われている。皮質の表面は薄い繊維皮膜で被われている。-----

This is to show a whole section of a human renal lobe, consisting of cortex, about the-

left 1/3, and renal medulla, about the right 2/3, the rightmost portion of which, --------

conically protruding portion, is renal papilla, covered with renal calyx. The surface ----

of renal cortex is covered with thin fibrous capsule.--------------------------------------------
