見られる。ヒトの卵巣では、サルの卵巣と違って、卵胞が見つかる可能性は非---

常に低い。この大きな標本を隈なく探査しても、僅かに数個の卵胞が見つかるに-

過ぎない。図の右側に見られる大きな空胞は閉鎖卵胞である。-----------------------

This is a human ovary at the 22^nd day of menstrual cycle and a well developed------

menstrual corpus luteum is conspicuous. In the human ovary, contrary to that-----

of monkey, the egg-follicles are seldom to be encountered. In this big specimen,----

thoroughly surveyed, only several follicles are detected. Two large vesicles at -------

right are the atretic follicles.----------------------------------------------------------------------
