思春期になって脳下垂体から卵胞刺激ホルモン（FSH）の分泌が始まると、

原始卵胞の幾つかがこれによって刺激されて発育を始める。その最初の兆---

候は、卵胞上皮が分裂・増殖を始め、単層扁平上皮であったものが単層立---

方上皮となることである。この図は発育を始めて、卵胞上皮が単層立方上---

皮になった幼若な二次卵胞である。この卵胞と周囲の卵巣支質の間には著---
