これは膣前壁と女性尿道の横断面であり、図の上方中央の、染まりの淡い円形の----

領域の中央に開いているのが尿道の断面、図の下縁の紫色の線が膣の上皮である。

膣の前壁は尿道によって後方に押されるので、この図では下方（後方）に向って---

This is a transverse section of the female urethra and anterior wall of the vagina.

At upper middle is the urethra, encircled with faintly stained round area, and the-

lower fringe of this figure is the epithelium of the anterior wall of the vagina. The

anterior wall of the vagina is pushed posteriorly by the urethra, so that it shows---

a slight convex curve as seen in this figure.--------------------------------------------------
