ヒト、フォルマリン固定、セロイディン包埋、H-E染色、x 9.

陰核は膣前庭の前端の正中部に位置する、直径約7mm、長さ約3cmの器官で、

発生学的には男の陰茎に相当する。陰核は左右１対の痕跡的な陰核海綿体を芯---

として、その周囲を血管と神経に富む結合組織が包み、表面を角化しない重層----

扁平上皮が包んだものである。この図は陰核の縦断面で、左側が基部で、左右---

の陰角脚が著明である。陰核の内部では、左右（図では上下）の痕跡的な陰核----

海綿体と、結合組織の中に多数の神経線維が見られる。表面の重層扁平上皮の---

基底層には非常に多くの色素細胞が存在する。------------------------------------------

The clitoris corresponds embryologically to the penis. It locates on the median---

line at the anterior end of the vestibulum vaginae. The clitoris consists of a pair

of rudimentary cavernous body, connective tissue being rich in blood vessels as-

well as nerve fibers and mucous membrane of the vestibulum vaginae. In this--

figure, at left 2 crura clitoridis are conspicuous. In the clitoris 2 rudimentary-----

cavernous bodies (upper and lower in this figure) and numerous small vessels---

and small nerve fibers are seen. The surface stratified squamous epithelium-----

contains a lot of pigment cells in its deepest layer.---------------------------------------
