これは26才の女性の子宮壁の全層で、月経周期の7~8日目頃と推定される。

図の左方約1/5が子宮内膜で、残りは厚い筋層である。内膜の浅い部分では--

子宮腺は直線状に走っているが、深い部分では迂曲しているために多数の断--

面として現れ、その周囲を細胞成分が埋めているために濃い青色に見える。--

筋層における筋繊維の走行はこの拡大では識別できない。筋層の外側約1/3---

には多くの血管の断面が見られる。最表層を包む腹膜（子宮外膜）もこの拡--

大では認識できない。-------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is the whole wall of corpus uteri of a female of 26 years. The mucous membrane--

is estimated at 7^th~8^th day of menstrual cycle. In this figure the left 1/5 is the mucous-

membrane, Endometrium, and the thick rest is the Myometrium. In the superficial----

half of the endometrium uterine glands run straight but in the deeper half they run---

tortuous so that they appear as numerous sections. In the thick myometrium running

directions of each muscle fiber are not identified in this low magnification.-----------------

The outermost covering of peritoneum is also not recognized in this figure.-----------------
