ヒト、ブアン液で固定、パラフィン包埋、H-E染色、ｘ 130.
これは同一切片上でα細胞とβ細胞とを識別するために、先ずβ細胞--
特殊顆粒をヴィクトリアブルーで濃青色に染め、次にα細胞のそれを----
フロキシンで赤く染めた標本である。この標本では更にどちらの染料にも-
染まっていない無色の細胞としてD細胞も識別できる。----------------

Human, fixation with Bouin's fluid, embedding with paraffin,
Victoria blue and phloxin stain, x 130.
In this specimen α- and β-cells are stained differentially, namely ----
specific granules inβ-cells are stained deep blue with Victoria blue ----
and that in α-cells red with phloxin. Furthermore, the third component -
of the islet, D-cells, are also identified as the unstained colorless cells.---
