精巣上体管の上皮は非常に丈の高い2列の円柱上皮で、2種類の細胞が

区別される。その第一は、エオジンに淡染する明るい細胞体の下半部に

細長い楕円形の核を持ち、自由表面に長い不動毛の束をそなえた円柱細

胞であり、第二は円形の核を基底膜に接する位置に持つ細胞で、これは

第一の細胞の基底部の間に不規則に嵌め込まれている。これら2種類の

細胞は著明な基底膜に裏打ちされ、さらにその外側を結合組織繊維及び

平滑筋繊維によって囲まれている。--------------------------------------------

Ductus epididymidis is lined with a very tall pseudostratified columnar---------

epithelium，consistinng of two kinds of cells, i.e. tall clear cells with------------

elliptic nuclei and a taft of long, non-motile stereocilia on their free surface,--

and small triangular cells with round nuclei inserted irregularly among the--

basal part of the former. These two kinds of cells are underlined by a----------

conspicuous basement membrane and further encircled by connective tissue

fibers as well as smooth muscle fibers.--------------------------------------------------
