曲精細管は直径150~250μｍ、長さ30~100ｃｍの曲がりくねった管で、-----

著明な結合組織性の基底膜で囲まれ、その内面を縁取る上皮は、精子形成------

を行う細胞群と、これを養い支持する支持細胞（セルトリー細胞）からなる。

セルトリー細胞は一定の間隔で基底膜から内腔に向かって立ち上がって、------

内腔を区画し、この区画内に精子形成細胞群を収容している。この図は曲精---

細管の一つの断面を示している。精子形成細胞については後述する。------------

highly convoluted tubules and enveloped with a conspicuous basement membrane.-----

The lining epithelium consists of two kinds of cells, i.e. sperm-producing cells and--------

supporting cells, Sertoli cells. The Sertoli cells stand up from the basement membrane

into the lumen at certain intervals dividing the lumen into numerous components,-----

where the sperm-producing cells are admitted. This is to show a whole transverse-------
